When was the last time you went to a job interview? For me it was 10 years ago, 1994! I had an interview recently and I was confident at first, until it hit me that I it has been a while since I had a decent interview. =o) I hope I get the job. I could really use the moolah.

beauty runs in the family

This is my daughter Erika (12) and my niece Nikki (15). Aren't they gorgeous! Nikki and my cousin Myrene with husband Marius came over for a visit (from Australia) for the holidays. Erika and Nikki had a chance to bond. Last time they saw each other was 3 years ago! I hope we don't have to wait another 3 years to see each other again.

He's just not that into me

I was just watching Oprah today and they were showing an old episode where she interviewed this author named Greg Behrendt (?) who wrote this book entitled, "He's Just Not That Into You", and I sat there shocked and thinking, "Oh, my God."

All this time I've been agonizing over why this guy doesn't call or email or text me despite telling me that he loves me and apparently all I needed to hear were 6 words ... HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. He may love me, sure, but that doesn't mean he is in love with me. He may just be telling me he loves me 'cause he doesn't want to hurt my feelings, 'cause he knows it is what I want to hear. But bottom line is ... he's just not that into me. I ask myself, am I ready to accept this? Part of me already has, but another part just wants to keep on hoping.

I was flipping through my old pics and look what I saw! An old pic of me and Pepper dancing on the ledge at Studebaker! This pic must've been taken in 1993 or 1994. Check out the straight hair on me, hehehe. Ah! Those were happy times.

a happy time

This is my favorite pic, so far. It was taken in January 2003 at Puerto Galera when I went there with just Claire. We had a lot of fun then. I was going through a rough time and just needed to get away. The trip did me good. As you can tell from the pic. I was actually happy then.
